WHAT IS A TSSF CHAPTER

In 2018, we initiated the chapter system to accommodate our dedicated members and volunteers who traveled long distances for our events. This system allows for more localized participation, attracting more youth and making it easier for everyone to contribute to our cause.

Chapter History and Growth

Since its inception, our chapter system has been pivotal in expanding our reach and impact across diverse communities.

In 2018, we laid the foundation with the establishment of our initial chapters: TSSf Kolkata Cares and TSSf Howrah H2O. These chapters quickly became pillars of support, engaging local members in meaningful social activities and projects. Building on this success, 2020 witnessed the addition of two more chapters, TSSf Kolkata South and TSSf Awaz-e-Watan, further solidifying our presence and extending our services to new areas. In 2021, our commitment to community service led to the launch of TSSf Calcutta East, marking another significant milestone in our journey of spreading positivity and making a difference where it matters most.

Our Thriving Chapters; TSSf Kolkata Cares (TKC), TSSf Kolkata South (TKS), and TSSf Calcutta East, together comprising over 100 members, are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.

Chapter Leadership

Leadership That Drives Change

Each chapter is managed by an elected serving board, with roles held from April 1st to March 31st of the following year. Key leadership positions include:

Treasurer

In addition, each chapter may have Directors for specific areas, maintaining a ratio of one director for every ten members.

Reporting on program and financial activities

TSSf also develops performance dashboards, organizes monthly meetings, recognizes well-performing chapters, and trains serving board officers to promote new chapters.
